What is included in msdsSource’s Blue Level SDS Management Service?
The Blue Level is a customer-managed SDS solution that builds on the Red Level service with added customization for unique locations and departments. It includes features such as unlimited administrators, multiple system backups (usable offline), batch printing with refresh, automatic SDS updates, and full access to SDS documents (view, download, print). Additional tools include secondary container label creation, smartphone app access, detailed inventory reports, SDSs indexed by eight different fields, and supervisor notifications.
How is the Gold Level SDS Management Service different from Blue Level?
The Gold Level is a fully outsourced SDS management solution and our most popular offering. It includes all features from both the Blue and Red Levels, plus a dedicated admin team that handles the ongoing maintenance and updates of your customized SDS site. With the Gold Level, msdsSource takes care of contacting your suppliers, collecting required SDSs, and ensuring your system stays up to date—allowing you to focus on your core business activities without worrying about SDS compliance.
What optional features are available with Blue and Gold Level SDS Management Services?
With both Blue and Gold Level services, you have access to optional advanced tools such as secondary container label generation and regulatory reporting. You can create and print NFPA, HMIS, and GHS-compliant labels for secondary containers. The included reporting module allows you to track and print inventories of chemicals that are subject to reporting under EPCRA, CERCLA, Section 112(r) of the Clean Air Act, and more. It also supports Prop 65 reporting for California, as well as checks against REACH, EPA’s List of Lists, the Department of Homeland Security list, and the Superfund Chemicals list.
